New Partnership Delivers Product-Level Precision, Supply-Chain Intelligence

New Partnership Delivers Product-Level Precision, Supply-Chain Intelligence

New carbon data partnership gives hospitality and brewing operators data that shows the impact of every ingredient and every decision, making it easier to reduce emissions and build resilience.

Zero Carbon Company (ZCC), who work with the food and drink sector to reach sustainability targets with more speed, efficiency, and profit, has announced a new partnership with Mondra, the sustainability intelligence platform transforming how the food system measures and manages environmental impact.

ZCC is made up of Zero Carbon Forum (ZCF), a non-profit collaborative group, and Zero Carbon Services (ZCS), a climate tech and advisory company.

The partnership enhances the capabilities of both - Forum members can now track the real-world impact of collective supply-chain interventions, such as dairy, beef and waste, and Services clients can gain deeper, product-specific carbon insights in their carbon footprinting across their operations.

“Our members and clients want greater clarity to ensure the decisions they make will genuinely reduce carbon emissions and build climate resilience,” said Mark Chapman, CEO and Founder of ZCF and ZCS. “This partnership delivers exactly that. Forum members can now measure the true impact of our collective supply-chain interventions, and Services clients gain deeper, product-level insights across their footprints. With Mondra’s digital-twin technology, we can also model the impact of changes before they’re made, helping leaders target the actions that deliver the biggest carbon and cost savings. Together, we’re bringing unprecedented accuracy to every decision.”

More Precision

Zero Carbon Services already delivers industry-leading footprinting and emissions reporting for hospitality and brewing operators.

With Mondra’s advanced ingredient-level data now integrated into its methodology, ZCS can replace generic industry averages with verified, product-specific factors, creating more accurate, actionable insights for every client.

This development allows operators to:

1. Go deeper into product-level footprinting to meet growing retailer and consumer demands for transparency (for example, reporting emissions for a specific beer rather than an average).

2. Model and measure the impact of supply chain interventions from packaging changes to ingredient swaps using Mondra’s digital-twin technology. This allows operators to create a virtual version of their product and instantly see how small adjustments could reduce emissions or improve efficiency before making changes in the real world.

3. Access enhanced Scope 3 (supply chain) analysis, powered by a richer dataset and advanced methodology, to support credible net zero plans.

Progress for the whole industry

For Zero Carbon Forum, the partnership with Mondra enables quantifiable reporting of collective industry action. When members implement supply-chain interventions, such as those developed through the Forum’s Beef or Dairy Action Groups, Mondra’s data will now help track and evidence the resulting carbon reductions.

A partnership that works

Zero Carbon Company already provides an end-to-end system for measuring, managing, and reducing emissions across hospitality and brewing.

The partnership with Mondra takes that capability even further, strengthening the precision of product-level data and giving operators the ability to see the direct impact of every supply-chain decision, from ingredient sourcing to distribution.

It brings together ZCC’s sector expertise and practical delivery with Mondra’s data science and digital-twin technology, creating a single, smarter view of carbon across the value chain.

“By combining Mondra’s granular data with Zero Carbon Company’s deep understanding of the hospitality and brewing sectors, we’re helping businesses move from averages to actuals,” said [Name, Title, Mondra]. “That clarity helps them focus investment where it delivers the biggest carbon and cost savings, strengthen supplier relationships, and demonstrate tangible progress toward net zero.”
