COLLABORATION

Collaboration is the secret ingredient to industry-led climate action. By uniting our collective expertise, resources, and influence, we can drive transformative change, tackle shared challenges, and create a resilient, net-zero future for all.

Action Groups

Our member-only Action Groups are designed to tackle some of the hardest climate-related challenges in food and drink and drive the adoption of sustainable practices. Joining these groups ensures you're leading the charge in transforming the hospitality industry for a thriving and resilient future.

We explore cutting-edge, energy-efficient equipment. We map out existing evidence, review public information, and share member trial results to ensure your operations are sleek and sustainable.

We look at how members can engage franchisees and tenants by refining communication strategies, updating tenancy agreements, and involving third parties to champion climate action across all locations.

We dive into strategies to reduce the environmental impact of dairy production, align with suppliers and explore actionable steps to make our dairy practices more planet-friendly.

We discuss the benefits of regenerative agriculture and how to integrate these practices into your supply chains, ensuring a sustainable and resilient future for all.

Work with us to tackle Scope 3 emissions by collaborating with suppliers. Together, we are finding effective ways to reduce their carbon footprint, creating a ripple effect of positive change in your operations and across the sector.

Beef is the most carbon intensive food product and makes the single biggest contribution to the Forum membership’s footprint. We're identifying opportunities to change farming practices to reduce these emissions, as well as improving local environmental outcomes and building resilience.

Exclusive Events

Our regular member events bring together people with the passion to drive sustainable change from across the industry and functions.

They regularly feature guest speakers in sustainability alongside members of the food and drink sector, to share action-oriented case studies, industry-data, and a wealth of learnings and insights.

Three times a year, we host our All Members’ Meeting, bringing together the best in hospitality to tackle the industry’s biggest sustainability challenges, from practical solutions to big-picture strategy.

We host bi-annual CEO/CFO Roundtables that bring together board members from across the industry to discuss what action the sector can take individually and collectively to build resilience, efficiencies and brands in the face of new climate-related risks.

Our regular meetings for smaller members provides the space and support that operators need to discuss their unique sustainability challenges, ask questions and share ideas.

We regularly host interactive events that support the key functions within hospitality and brewing businesses, such as Climate Chef Days, greenwashing workshops, and more.

Joining the Zero Carbon Forum absolutely solved our problem. We are a very small team at Riley’s and we wouldn’t have been able to do it without the help of the Forum. Join - it’s relatively low cost and we’ve already got our money back. Quote Icon

We’ve grown with the Zero Carbon Forum. We’ve been a member for about 14 years. Whether you’re experienced in this field or just starting out, the Forum team have so much experience and knowledge. You can see this in the Forum’s membership that everybody on the high street and retail sector is part of it. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Quote Icon

I love coming to the Forum's meetings. It's really inspiring, really energising. I think the Zero Carbon Forum is different to others because it's focused on action, not sitting around moaning. It is very open. People don't tend to keep their cards in. You can always find out what the barriers are for people, but also what people are doing. It's a really fast pace. You hear lots of ideas. You talk to your peers. Quote Icon
