Sales Executive (Temporary Contract)


At Zero Carbon Forum, we work with hospitality and brewing businesses to accelerate the race to net zero – helping operators cut carbon, reduce costs, and build resilient, future-ready businesses. We’re a collaborative, mission-driven team working with some of the biggest brands in the industry, from independent breweries and national pub groups to global food chains. 
 
We’re looking for a Sales Assistant to support our efforts to grow membership during an exciting time of expansion. 

About the Role 

This is a temporary role designed to help us identify and engage new potential members across the hospitality and brewing sector. You’ll be supporting our Sales Director by building a prospect database, warming up leads with relevant content, and booking introductory calls. 
 
We’re open to a range of candidates – whether you’re early in your career or an experienced hospitality professional looking for a new, purpose-driven challenge. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Research and build a database of priority prospects across hospitality and brewing across different functions 

  • Make initial contact via phone call, email and/or LinkedIn with relevant content and messaging 

  • Engage prospects in meaningful conversations to gauge interest and readiness 

  • Book qualified calls for the Sales Director with warm leads 

  • Track all activity in our CRM (Hubspot) and support basic reporting 

  • Share ideas and feedback to help shape our outreach strategy 

About You 

We are looking for someone proactive, personable and passionate about sustainability and the hospitality industry. You’ll be supported by a brilliant team and given everything you need to succeed. 

Essential: 

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal 

  • Comfortable engaging with people via email, LinkedIn and phone 

  • Organised, proactive and keen to learn 

  • A genuine interest in climate action and hospitality 

Based in the UK and available to start soon 

Bonus if you have: 

  • Experience working in or with hospitality or brewing businesses 

  • Experience using CRM (Hubspot)  

  • Previous sales or customer service experience
